Hi there, I'm Alex! Back when I was a student, a teacher of mine used to scribble on the board: "Learn without learning!" It completely flipped my perspective on education. I followed in those footsteps and became an English tutor myself — until I thought, why not turn the tables? "Teach without teaching!" I've spent the last 15 years "not teaching" and having a blast instead. The truth is, if you're actually having fun in class, there's always going to be a room full of smiling faces waiting for you.
I specialise in teaching adult learners online — professionals, executives, and curious minds aged 25-55 who want real conversations, not textbook drills. My students have ranged from Russian IT engineers to French marketing directors to Brazilian entrepreneurs. What they all have in common: they're smart, busy, and bored of Spotlight and English File. So I build my own unique ESL lesson plans for adults filled with original topics and a healthy spoonful of weirdness and quirks. Love it or hate it, that's my style.
My goal is to help online ESL tutors break out of that rigid routine and inspire them to create their own worlds. Our profession offers unmatched freedom and the chance to build genuine bonds with our students — no, wait, I call them "friends!"
