The lesson takes a realistic turn as students listen to the same speakers two years later — now facing redundancy and betrayal — prompting a discussion on the limits of corporate loyalty. Learners analyze statistical data regarding Gen Z's transactional approach to work, side hustles, and dissatisfaction with traditional career paths. Finally, students contrast cultural myths with "brutal truths" by watching videos that challenge the idea of a company as a "second family," exploring the reality that the corporate machine keeps going without the individual. They conclude by examining generational shifts in work ethic and discussing the importance of separating self-worth from professional identity.
