The core listening segment features an audio dialogue of a salon visit, where students follow a customer's experience (including potential mishaps like getting shampoo in their eyes or dyeing hair the wrong color) and answer comprehension questions about the client's profession, reasons for the visit, and their reaction to second-rate service. Finally, the lesson transitions to a podcast about famous redheads throughout history. Students listen and complete a chart matching historical figures (Elizabeth I, Vincent van Gogh, Vladimir Lenin, Mary Magdalene, Galileo Galilei) to their achievements and redhead-related traits.
