The lesson transitions to the business world, where learners categorize six distinct types of competitors (e.g., Direct, Indirect, Replacement, SERP) based on their market threats, followed by a gap-fill exercise outlining the strategic advantages of analyzing competitors. Students then shift to the natural world to differentiate between intraspecific and interspecific competition using animal behavior examples. The core of the lesson tackles corporate ethics as students match ten unfair competitive methods — such as bid-rigging, predatory pricing, bait-and-switch, and identity theft — to illustrative scenarios. Finally, learners listen to an expert break down the legal and practical dangers of unethical business behavior, completing multiple-choice comprehension tasks.
